Android 5.0 Lollipop Update Schedule



Android 5.0 Lollipop has been officially announced by Google in conjunction with Nexus 6 and 9. The latest Android operating system comes with a wide variety of interesting features. Its addition, the other thing is the most awaited Android 5.0 update announcement Lollipop of various manufacturers of mobile phones and tablets.

Some manufacturers already announced it will provide Android Lollipop
updates long before the operating system was announced. However, most manufacturers are still waiting for the development of the operating system before it is implemented in its products. Here are some types of phones and tablets that have been announced will get the Android 5.0 update.
 
Google

As usual, all the brand Nexus will get the latest operating system updates before devices from other manufacturers get it. Five series of Nexus devices which are still active today will get an update in October to November.

     Nexus 4 - Released in the fall.
     Nexus 5 - Released a few weeks after Android Lollipop slide.
     Nexus 6 - Lollipop Already using Android when it was released.
     Nexus 7 - Released a few weeks after Android Lollipop slide.
     Nexus 9 - Lollipop Already using Android when it was released.

HTC

Before Android Lollipop was released, HTC has promised to release an update to its flagship device within 90 days. Some other devices also promised to get the update, but without confirmation of the exact date.

For information, Lollipop Android SDK will be officially released to third-party developers on October 17, 2014. This means that if HTC keep its promise to release Android Lollipop within 90 days, then the owner of the M7 and M8 HTC will get the update in January 2015.

     HTC - Released 90 days after receiving the source code of Android Lollipop.
     HTC M8 - Released 90 days after receiving the source code of Android Lollipop.
     HTC Mini - Promised got an update but no official date.
     HTC Mini 2 - Promise gets update but no official date.
     HTC GPE - pending.
     HTC M8 GPE - pending

Motorola

As one of Google's main business partners, various Motorola devices will get Android 5.0 update Lollipop just two months after its release. In fact, the middle class and below it will also get the updates quickly. Here are various Motorola devices will get the update at the end of 2014:

     Moto E - Confirmed will get updates.
     Moto G - Confirmed will get updates.
     Moto G LTE edition - Confirmed will get updates.
     Moto X - Confirmed will get updates.

Samsung


Although there is no official statement, but all the middle class over the Samsung that was released in 2014 is likely to get Lollipop Android update.

Sony

After a fairly disappointing users for not releasing Android KitKat for the middle class output in 2013, Sony also seems to be doing the same thing for the 2014 series of his. Once again do not be partners to refine Google Nexus device, the LG does not seem to be too hasty to give Android update Lollipop. A device that is almost certain to get it is the latest line of high-end devices released this year.

In addition to the above several manufacturers, other manufacturers are still not announced when and what devices will get Android 5.0. This operating system is very worth trying because it comes with a design and modern look which previously has been widely adopted by Samsung devices.

In this latest operating system google also brings a new notification system that presents information to users.
